Today I had the Steak Sandwich and with a couple of coffee's made for a lovely sunday brunch in the Herne Bay sunshine.
Cafe Troisgros where we had lunch - 5 courses including desert and coffee - was the most amazing meal I have ever had - the flavours were out of this world.
Michel Troisgros is a 2 star Michelin restaurant. Helen was a chef there
Dish 1 At Cafe Troisgros - Humus and Yogurt topped with cuscus with roasted veges
Dish 2 At Cafe Troisgros - Helen designed the base for this dish - tomato, capsicum, tuscan style soup with amazing depth of flavours. topped with a cucumber and onion jelly and taragon leaves
Dish 3 At Cafe Troisgros - Black snapper with roasted hazelnuts and rosemary. Celeriac puree.
Dish 4 At Cafe Troisgros - Super soft braised pork belly with beetroot and mustard seed sauce
Dish 5 At Cafe Troisgros - Poached pineapple with lime and mint. Brioche, vanilla ice cream and caramelized almonds
